· Created custom work search capability that would allow user to search items based on key word searching.  The process would add a list to matching items to a drop down list which the user could select from.  This would save time in entering item numbers of items where the user only new some key words, but not the item number.

· Created a custom Work In Progress application to mimic a legacy application that was highly used in the company.  This application would display Job Status Inquiry type of data in a easier to view format separating out Labor, Burden, Material, Gross Profit, Percent Complete, Earned revenue, outstanding AR, Retainage, etc.  Data was pulled from many sources to this single application.

· Created custom packing and shipping wizard to assist shipping dept in tracking items packed into boxes.  This wizard included sending shipping information to Shipping system and retrieving tracking numbers and shipping cost.  It would print packing slips and/or bill of lading.  It would add freight lines to the order with shipping cost and tracking number.  The method used to communicate with the shipping system was TCP/IP sockets.

· Created positive pay batch process.

· Created complex custom financial reports: Balance sheet, Financial Ratios, Cash Flow. These reports had to include data derived from the standard balance sheet and income statement.

· Misc reports and minor modifications to standard objects.

· Created custom application to assist the AR collection person.  The application brought all of the important information needed by the collection person into a single application to save the time of using multiple applications to look up the information required to call and follow up on unpaid invoices.

· Created an automated system to send order confirmations and shipment confirmations to customers.

· Created design documents for the complex modifications.  For the less than complex reports and modifications, gathered business requirements verbally converted into report.

· Created complex interface from 3rd party order entry process.  The company creates custom items defined by the order entry process.  The interface had to create item master records, item branch, Kit items, BOMs, routings, sales orders, and work orders. 

· Created interface with LIMS system to exchange data back and forth.  Data from LIMS would cause routing steps and WOs to be completed.  Sales orders status would be advanced.

· Built interfaces from E1 to 3rd party sales order system and LIMS system that handled 2 distinct products that required different handling and processing.

· Created a modification to the order entry process that would automatically create ST/OT orders required by intercompany (IC) orders.  Changes made to the intercompany order would automatically create the new ST order if required or update ST to match what was entered in the IC order.

· Many manual processes in sales order, work order, and inventory systems were automated to limit user interaction to improve accuracy and performance.

· Assisted with upgrade from XE to 8.12.  The upgrade included hundreds of custom objects that had to be reviewed and/or retrofitted.  The upgrade included the conversion of data of a newly acquired company.

· Creation of and modification to many misc reports

· Troubleshooting of batch processes, applications, and business functions that had bugs.

· Create modification to package build process to allow the CNC person to select objects based on project status.  This mod would add the master template to the package for any versions that were in a project.  It no longer required the user to add the master template to the project to assure it was included in the project.

· Created modification to project creation process to add additional owners as configured by CNC person using custom application to specify users to add.

· Created design documents for most projects at this client.
